This month’s Virtual Tasting is tonight! The wine will be the 2009 Charles Smith Wines Chateau Smith Cabernet Sauvignon (Note that some readers have told me they have seen the 2010 on the shelves, so feel free to pick that up instead). This wine retails for $20 and is widely available. The tasting will take place from 7-8pm Pacific.
What you need to do to participate is:
1. Buy this month’s wine from a local retailer or from the winery.

Note that this wine has indeed undergone a vintage change since I announced the tasting earlier in the month. I was only able to find the 2010 Cabernet so feel free to pick this up and join in.
I also couldn't find the 09. My local grocer originally had the 08, which I bought a bottle of, but when that ran out they followed with the 2010, skipping the 09 entirely. In think I'll pick up a 2010 now and open the 2008 and the 2010 for comparison.
