By popular demand, November’s Virtual Tasting will be the 2009 Owen Roe Abbot’s Table. This wine retails for $20 and is widely available. The tasting will take place on Wednesday November 17th from 7-8pm Pacific Time.
What you need to do to participate is:
1. Buy this month’s wine from a local retailer or from the winery
2. Post your comments/tweets on the wine tonight between 7 and 8pm. For those on Twitter, follow me @wawinereport. I will be using the hashtag #owenroe during the event.

D'oh! So close. We have the 2008 Abbott's Table, but not the 2009. Guess the Yak House will be doing another vertical or one off.
No luck finding the '09.
Still some '08 out there but no '09…at least in Oly WA.
Daddy-O, bummer! Grab a bottle of 2008. I haven't looked on the shelves yet here in Seattle but saw that the 2009 was the current release so I'm assuming it's out there already. I'll let you know if I find otherwise but I know others are doing the 2008 or 2008 & 2009 as well. 'See' you then!
