Summary: Anelare is a new winery located in Benton City, Washington. Winemaker Victor Cruz also has his own winery, Canon del Sol. “Anelare” is Italian for “desire” or “yearn for.” The 2005 Cabernet, which received an “Outstanding” rating in the Seattle Wine Awards and a bronze medal in the Tri-Cities Wine Festival Competition, is their first release. This is an excellent first effort, although a bit over priced in my mind. The 2006 Cabernet is expected to be released later this summer. |

Glad you got to taste Anelare wine and thanks for the review. We just released our 2006 vintages, with the Cab. Sauv. and Syrah available to wine club members only, however we did also release a Syrah based blend that has been very popular that is available to the public.
In December of 2008 we are excited to announce we will open a wine tasting studio off highways 395 in South Kennewick open to the public and available for private business or personal functions to our wine club members.
