House of Smith Jet City Winery, Seattle, Washington
The House of Smith Jet City Winery building in Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood has been listed for sale. The facility serves as a production space and tasting room for the K Vintners wines and founder Charles Smith’s other brands. Smith confirmed the listing in an email to Northwest Wine Report.
“House of Smith continues to be on a global growth trajectory with distribution in 71 countries,” Smith said. “As we expand worldwide, we can confirm that the House of Smith Jet City winery space in Seattle is for sale as we explore an enhanced brand presence in Seattle that best supports our ongoing expansion. While the building is for sale, it will remain open and operating as usual, and we encourage people to come visit us.”
Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce was the first to report the listing. The sale price for the House of Smith Jet City facility is listed just under $12M.
House of Smith is an umbrella company for a series of brands that include K Vintners, CasaSmith, Sixto, Golden West, and others. Smith said that production of the House of Smith wines will continue forward despite the building being listed for sale.
“This will have no impact on the production of K Vintners and our entire portfolio, and we continue to expand,” Smith said. The House of Smith tasting room in Walla Walla
