I wrote last week about Chateau Ste. Michelle submitting to the City of Woodinville its plan to redevelop parts of its property. There, I outlined the key aspects of the plan.
Here, I drill into the plan based on the schematic representation the Chateau provided. I have broken down key aspects and show the schematic associated with them.
Note that these are not necessarily final plans. Rather, they are what the Chateau is envisioning at present.
1. Current entranceway on Stimson Lane will be relocated
The plan Chateau Ste. Michelle submitted to the City of Woodinville calls for the current entrance to Chateau Ste. Michelle – Stimson Lane – to be relocated.
In the plan, Stimson Lane will be relocated to the east of its present location. This will be in the direction of a currently existing man-made pond. The plan also calls for Stimson Lane to be accessed via a newly created roundabout off NE 145th St.
Stimson Lane will then continue on to pass directly by the Chateau itself as well as the current tasting room. This is a significant change from the present.
2. Retail, restaurant, and other tasting rooms will be located near current entranceway
