Apologies if I missed anyone. We’ll do it all again next month.
Clear, not brilliant and likely due to the very deep purple color of the wine. Wonderfully fragrant nose of blackberries, plums, roses and a bit of minty eucalyptus quality; in the mouth, it's fairly "large" and tannic with mouth-coating texture. Acidity seems fairly high, but very well-balanced with the fruit and tannins. Flavors show blackberry and plum with a very long bitter chocolate and black coffee finish. There's clearly tannin here, but it's not overpowering. A particularly delicious bottle of wine for the $11.00 I paid for it. I give it an "I'll Buy More" rating.
"Lim"Berger, first, love the name! Definitely a fair amount of tannins on this wine. Seem to be coming from the wood to me, but could be showing like this a bit because I have it a bit too cold. Thanks for the comment! You can see what people are saying on Twitter at:

Those tannins are definitely of grape origin…some burly Syrah lots coming out of HHH and Wahluke Slope. We actually press early to limit tannin extraction and still get well structured wines.
Hi Co! Thanks for stopping by. Interesting to hear regarding the tannins. Big, burly wine for a Syrah.
I see on your Twitter ramblings that you're looking for a Spokane white for next month. How about trying the 2008 Caterina Chardonnay that Paul Gregutt descibed as huge and delicious in the Seattle Times. I bought four bottles a few months ago, but won't be trying the first until this weekend.
Good thought on the Caterina Chardonnay. I wonder how available it is. Will give it a look. I try to pick something that's reasonably easy for folks to find.
If you need a contact with the distributor…try this (and no! I don't personally know him or have a vested interest. Just had the info on file from when I was working with my local wine steward to find the wine here in Bremerton):

Excellent! Thanks.
I guess my palate is a lot more educated than those that posted comments here. I found the nose very unpleasant. This wine had no complexity and was very bland on the palate. I would never buy this wine again and I would definitely not recommend it to anyone that had a clue what a really good syrah tastes like.
Anon, nothing like being late to a party. Thanks for the comment – and the humility.
