As I write, a hard, extended rain falls on Walla Walla. The rain has been falling for over an hour accompanied by an electrical storm. I have not ventured to the outdoor street dance downtown that is part of Vintage Walla Walla, but I can only fear the worst.

After the blending seminar at Les Collines Vineyard today (more on this event to follow), we focused largely on wineries we have not had the occasion to visit on previous trips to Walla Walla. These wineries included Sleight of Hand Cellars, Cavu, and Dusted Valley Vintners. We also visited Kontos Cellars and Trio Vintners, two wineries we visited previously, located at the incubator region of the airport. We finished up at Isenhower Cellars.

More on the weekend in the coming days.
