Waterbrook – founded in 1984 – is located in downtown Walla Walla. The name is based on a translation of Walla Walla – alternately “running water” or “many waters.” Waterbrook’s winemaker is John Freeman. The winery, purchased by the behemoth Precept Brands in late 2006, produces 75,000 cases annually. Waterbrook’s mélange, a red blend – is a consistent value standout.

Just found yr blog. V. nice! Looking forward to digging in more. Given the state of the economy, would love to see more posts on value wines, or wines like Abbott’s Table (a good deal today, but a better bet for the cellar).
Cheers,
Finny
Finspot,
Thanks for the comment and welcome. I hear you on the value wines. Each month I try five wines under fifteen dollars (you will see that label listed on the right) and put them up as one post. I am a big fan of the Abbott’s Table and Owen Roe’s wines in general. Let me know other thoughts as you peruse around.
