The winner of the 2008 Washington Wine Report Reader Survey Wine of the Year is the 2005 Quilceda Creek Cabernet Sauvignon.

Quilceda Creek was founded in 1978. Since this time, they have been on a relentless pursuit of perfection. The 2005 Cabernet is 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Merlot from Champoux, Galitzine, Klipsun, and Tapteil vineyards. The winemakers were Paul Golitzin, Marv Crum, and Alex Golitzin. The 2005 Quilceda Creek Cabernet is the winery’s third vintage in the last four years to receive a 100 point rating from Wine Advocate. This is an accomplishment no other winery in the world has equaled.

I have listed the first through third place wines from the survey below. Thanks to everyone who voted.
