This month marks three years since I made Northwest Wine Report a subscription-based site. As I’ve written before, I did not expect the subscription version of the site to get off the ground and last a full year let alone three years. There is one reason for this site’s success to date, and that reason is you.

You have subscribed and supported this site more ardently than I ever imagined. I will forever be grateful.

I want to thank each and every person who has subscribed to Northwest Wine Report over the last three years. Whether you’ve subscribed for a month, a year, or three years, you quite literally make this site possible. It would not exist without you.

As we all know, the media world is shrinking. The wine industry itself is currently contracting. Focusing exclusively on Northwest wine as I do here will always be, by definition, very niche.

At Northwest Wine Report, I continue to swim upstream. I do so because I believe in the Pacific Northwest, its wines, and the people and places that create them. I do so to reach out to people in the Northwest and beyond to share my excitement about what’s going on here.

Writing about and reviewing wine has always been a labor of love for me. That said, I can only continue to do it with your support. Every single subscriber is mission critical to Northwest Wine Report’s existence.

If you haven’t subscribed yet, now is the time. I need your commitment and support to keep Northwest Wine Report going.

To all of my subscribers, again, thank you. I ask for you continued support over this next year.
