We did it! I am thrilled to report that, on Monday, Northwest Wine Report reached its Fall Subscriber Drive target number! Our magic number is now zero, and we are able to continue publishing in 2026!
I want to thank everyone who subscribed during the subscriber drive this year. Each and every one of you plays a vital role in this site continuing next year.
To those of you who I had given discounted subscriptions in the past and who changed your subscriptions to the full price so I could keep the site going, I remain truly touched. Thank you.
To winery folk and other people who reached out and asked how they could help, thank you.
To everyone who has subscribed and supported Northwest Wine Report since I made the site subscription-based in June of 2023, thank you. You power this site.
It’s not an exaggeration to say that I would not be able to do anything that I do here without your subscriptions. Northwest Wine Report is solely subscriber funded. It is my primary source of income.
I ask for your continued support in the months ahead. Just because the site reached its goal to continue publishing in 2026 does not mean that it is smooth sledding here on out by any means.
Everyone who has subscribed to this site is mission critical to it continuing, truly. This remains an exceedingly difficult time in the wine industry. The publishing industry is considerably more challenging. Combine the two? You can imagine.
Again, thank you so much for your support. I can’t really express how much it means to me.
To those who have been planning to subscribe but haven’t gotten around to it yet, now is the time! This site still needs your support in the days and months ahead to continue forward. Join us!

Fantastic news, Sean! Your writing is elegant and thoughtful. I learn so much from you, both about understanding wine and gaining insight into the business aspects of owning and running a winery. I am grateful for you every day.
Thanks so much for the kind words and support, Kathleen! I truly appreciate both!
