Event will also shift from Seattle to Bellevue
Walla Walla Wine On Tour, a series of annual events conducted by Walla Walla Valley Wine, will expand locations in 2025. The tour’s four stops will now include an event in Spokane, WA.
“There’s a really strong, serious wine community there,” says Tracy Parmer, development director, Walla Walla Valley Wine. “They’re also in our backyard.”
For 2025, the western Washington event that has traditionally taken place in Seattle will shift to Bellevue. The tasting will take place at the Meydenbauer Center.
“For consumers and for trade, keeping the event fresh and easy to access is at the forefront of our minds,” says Parmer. “We want to evolve our events and our experiences that we’re offering.” Events for 2025 will also take place in Portland, OR and Boise, ID.
Approximately 50 Walla Walla Valley wineries will be pouring at each event. As in previous years, the consumer event will offer a limited amount of bottle sales.
Each location will feature a consumer tasting on Sunday followed by a trade tasting on Monday. In Boise, there will also be a second consumer tastings on Monday.
“The reception from Boise has been incredible,” Parmer says.
This will be the third year that Walla Walla Wine On Tour will take place in Boise. Walla Walla Valley wineries have been gaining significant traction from Boise residents. There is also a great deal of tourism from Boise to the valley, which is approximately four hours away.
