Pepper Bridge Pepper Bridge Vineyard Walla Walla Valley 2008
A compelling contrast to the other wines sampled here, this wine is lightly aromatic with coffee bean, herbal notes, and dark cherries. On the palate it brings firm tannins along with rich fruit flavors of chocolate, cherry, and ripe cranberries. Lingers on the finish. A very sexy - some might say masculine - wine. Give one to two years. 55% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Malbec, and 5% Petit Verdot. Aged 20 months in French oak (48% new). 14.1% alcohol. 476 cases produced. Sample provided by winery.
