Fruit for this wine comes from Les Collines Vineyard, 25% destemmed and aged in a mixture of new and neutral French oak. Extremely ripe aromas of black fruit accented with barrel spice lead to full-bodied, quite hot flavors. The ripeness seems to have run away with it.
