Syrah is quickly making its mark in this young growing region, and Colter's Creek is one of the wineries leading the way. Sarsaparilla, cola, tangerine rind, and black cherry aromas are followed by broad, pillowy-soft feeling flavors. There's exuberant appeal to the texture, as well as outrageous length on the finish. I can't say I've had another Northwest Syrah quite like it.
